Rachael T. Gillman, 54, of Milan, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Crestview Acres in Marion, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial will take place at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the Alzheimer's Association.

Rachael was born on May 15, 1961 in Joliet, IL, a daughter of Neal Skvorc and Carolyn Cole. She married Vernard "Bud" Gillman on August 13, 1983 in Morrison, IL. Rachael worked at Deere and Company as an Account Specialist.

Rachael was the life and center of every family gathering, a woman who filled her heart and home with music, and passed on her love of music and the fine arts on to her children. Rachel cherished family above all else and was adored by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Vern "Bud"; children, Carolyn (Eric) Beckman, Davenport, Brian (Ashley) Gillman, Rock Island and Kevin Gillman, Milan; grandchildren, Christopher and Jacob Gillman and Evan Beckman; sisters, Diane (Jim) Lytle, Rebecca (Bill) Latham, Laurie Skvorc, Amy (Jeff) Carroll and Patty (Sue Dallimore) Skvorc; along with many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
