Raymond D. Foster, 80, of Milan, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026 at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Rock Island.

Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at the Milan American Legion on January 17th from 12-4 PM.

Raymond was born March 9, 1945 in Rock Island, the son of Francis A. and Ruth E. (Harper) Foster.  He married Penny Cooper in 1973.

Raymond retired from the Rock Island Arsenal in 1999.  He was an avid NASCAR fan especially Jeff Gordan.

Survivors include his children, Steve (Courtney) Foster, Milan and Amy Foster, Camanche, IA; grandchildren, Aiden, Tauren, and Roman Foster; great-granddaughter Finlee Foster; sisters, Arlene Greathouse, Illinois City and Kathy Marshall, Bennett, IA and brothers, Mike (Kathy) Foster, Milan, Denny (Judy) Foster, Milan and Steve (Sandy) Foster, Milan.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ronald, Kenneth, John, Robert, Gary, Beverly, Marilyn, and Norma.
