Raymond “Ray” B. Stewart, 61, of Rock Island, IL, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at his home. Ray was born on February 6, 1965, in Iowa City, IA, the son of Leonard and Katie (McClendon) Stewart.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and playing cards. He especially loved watching Western TV.

Ray is survived by his daughter, Rayann Stewart; grandchildren, Lamar Hutchins, Kamiyah Watson, Jayceonna Jones; siblings, Betty (Greg) Lee, Lavonne Stewart, and Leonard (Lisa) Stewart Jr; and a host of nieces and nephews. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents and sister Minnie Lyle.

The service for Ray will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, IL. A visitation will be held an hour prior to services from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Davenport, IA. Memorials can be made in care of the family.
