Reggie G. Wheatley, 57, of Rock Island, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Services for Mr. Wheatley will be 1pm, Thursday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Andalusia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Reggie was born on December 30, 1958 in Carlisle, Arkansas, a son of Thomas E. Wheatley and Shirley A. Carrell Wheatley. He married Jenny L. Wagner in 1977 in Rock Island. Reggie worked as a laborer out of the International Brotherhood of Laborer's Hall, Local No. 309, Rock Island.

Survivors include his sons, Joshua (Mindy) Wheatley, Andalusia, and Reggie (Heather) Wheatley, Reynolds; parents, Thomas and Linda Wheatley, Rock Island; grandchildren, Gage, Evie, Whitney, Landon, and Chase; siblings, Thomas (Kathy) Wheatley, Aledo, Artis (David) Bitterman, Davenport, Laura (Simon) Milton, Rock Island, Crystal (Randy) Kitterman, Galva, Tomi (Robert) Coronado, Milan, and Jamie Pate, Rock Island.
