Reginald J. Harkless , 60, of Rock Island, IL passed away Tuesday August 24, 2021 at UnityPoint-Triniity, Rock Island.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept 1, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Inurnment will be at Chippianock Cemetery, Rock Island.

Reginald was born October 13, 1960 in Rock Island, a son of Arthur A. Harkless, Sr. and Marianna Anderson Harkless. He graduated from Rock Island High School.

He worked at the former Crooners Restaurant, Moline, for many years.

In earlier years, Reginald enjoyed building model cars and driving his car around town.

Surviving are his sisters, Orphajean "Jean" Hasson, Rock Island, Kay Henry, Rock Island, and Ruth Harkless, Rock Island; brother, Arthur Harkless, Jr., East Moline, IL and many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Reginald was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Barbara Harkless and Linda Walsh; two brothers, Richard Harkless, Sr. and Johnny Harkless; and a nephew, Dwaine Hasson.
