Obituary
Richard M. Bennett , 87, of Murrieta, CA, passed away November 13, 2020 in Menifee, CA.
A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 21, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, with visitation one hour prior to services. Inurnment, with military honors conducted by Moline American Legion Post 246, will be at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.
Richard was born August 20, 1933 in Kewanee, IL, a son of McKown and Marguerite Bennett. He as a U.S. Navy veteran.
Mr. Bennett was a talented vocalist and musician. He was a school teacher for many years in California.
He is survived by his daughters, Deanna Andriani and Myriam McFarland; son, Paul Drake; sisters, Sherry and Mary; and brother, Larry; and other family.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Alice; and brothers, Jim, Bill and Jack.
