Richard A. Davis, 62, of Milan, IL, passed away Monday January 22, 2018 at his home.

A memorial celebration of Richard's life for family and friends will be 12:00 pm (noon) to 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the family home, 1930 11th St., Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.

Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, assisted the family with arrangements.

Richard was born December 7, 1955 in Moline, IL, a son o f Wendel and Ella Bush Davis. He graduated from Winola High School, Viola, Class of 1975. He also graduated from Denver Diesel and Automotive College, Denver, CO.

In earlier years, he was employed at Ralston-Purina. He later worked at Goodyear, Moline, and currently was a mechanic at Key Auto Mall, Moline.

Richard enjoyed bowling in area leagues, camping, and traveling to many States in the U.S.

Surivivng are his mother, Ella J. Davis, of Rock Island; brothers and sisters, David Davis, Rock Island, Sam (Kris) Davis, Rock Island, Jeanie (Duane) Matson, Minnesota Lake, MN, Joan Pippenger, Rock Island and Cindy Fuller, Branson, MO; sister-in-law, Vicki Davis, Rock Island; and numerous nieces, nephews and additional family.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, one sister, Margie Lynn, and one brother, Glen E. Davis.
