Richard Lee Harrison, 77, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday July 16, 2017 at Generations, Rock Island.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30pm on Friday at Rock Island National Cemetery, with military honors. Those wishing to attend may meet at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan at 1:45pm. Memorials may be left to the family.

Richard was born on November 8, 1939 in Geneseo, the son of Jack and Ruth (Guild) Harrison. He married Beverly Barrows on May 17, 1964 in Rock Island. He was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Mr. Harrison retired from Trinity Hospital as a respiratory therapist. After retirement he enjoyed working in sales with Amway, Stanley, Fuller Brush and had worked at PerMar.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly; daughter Sue Harrison(Anthony Rasor), Rock Island; grandchildren, Kaleb Harrison-Smith and Tashia Harrison-Rasor; sister Mary Lou (Louis) Redmond, FL.
