Richard "Rick" L. Secor, 75, of Orion, passed away, surrounded by his family, Thursday, April 27, 2023, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity, Rock Island.

Visitation will be 2:00pm to 4:00pm, on April 30, 2023, at Wheenlan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan with a funeral service to follow at 4:00pm. Memorials may be made to Orion Christian Church or to a Cystic Fibrosis charity.

Richard was born on December 28, 1947, in Moline, the son of Robert J and Bernice (Melody) Secor. Rick served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He married Katherine Armstrong in 1967 in Milan. He worked at the Rock Island Arsenal as a warehouseman and retired in 2007.

Rick was a member of the Orion Christian Church and the Orion Masonic Lodge. He loved being outdoors enjoying hunting, fishing, and camping. Rick loved his family and especially loved joking around, playing with, and supporting his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Kathee; son, Rick (Brenda) Secor; grandchildren, Caleb (Lindsay) Secor, Katelynn Secor, Eli Secor, Brittany Secor, and Noah Secor; great grandchildren, Marllie, Averie, Stevie and best buddy, Bentley; siblings, Helen (David) Popp, John K. (Debbie) Secor, Greg (Kathy) Secor; and many special friends that were like family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Steven, and brother, Kenneth D. Secor.
