Ricky L. McCombs, 70, of Taylor Ridge, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00am on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. A funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Ricky was born January 27, 1955, in Moline, the son of Edward and Lucille (Mosher) McCombs. He married Ronnda West on September 3, 1977, at Memorial Heights Church in Rock Island. Ricky worked for Alcoa, which later became Arconic, for 32 years, retiring in 2015.

Ricky enjoyed being outside, whether that be boating, fishing, or hunting. In his youth, he was a bowler and played baseball. His favorite baseball team was the Chicago Cubs. More than anything else, he loved spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ronnda and special family members, Corey and Marty Manning, Drake Shuck, Logan Manning, Olivia Manning, and Nancy McCombs. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Billy McCombs, Edward McCombs Jr., Eileen Stark, Dorothy Roessler, Nancy Gosney, and Sharon Gipe.
