Robert “Bob” Tapprich (also known as “Tap” to many), 90, of Silvis, Illinois, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island, Illinois.

Private services will be held, and entombment will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, Illinois is assisting with arrangements.

Robert was born on July 26, 1935, in Ullin, Illinois. He graduated from Ullin High School and served in the U.S. Air Force, receiving an honorable discharge in 1959. He worked in the restaurant business and in car sales for many years before retiring.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Cami Hall; his grandchildren, Rica and her husband Anthony Renteria, Deidre Hall, Simone Hall, and Jason Tapprich; and his significant other, Anna Graham, along with her children, Denise Minnaert, Dorene Lay, and Darren (Carrie) DeMay, as well as her 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, his son, Marshal Tapprich, and his stepdaughter, Diane Switzer.
