Born on December 15, 1940, in Moline, IL, to William and Elizabeth (Dhaemers) Yeager, Bob grew up surrounded by the warmth of family. He served in the United States Army Reserves from 1963 to 1969. Bob found true happiness on September 5, 1964, when he married his love and best friend, Nancy Hensley. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, adventure, and countless cherished memories.

Bob was an accomplished runner and member of the Cornbelt Running Club. He proudly participated in the 1982 Boston Marathon. He was also a swimmer and bicyclist, competing in several triathlons. Bob enjoyed the thrill of the open road on his many different motorcycles over the years. When he couldn't ride anymore, he made sure to donate his bike to a good cause, Arrowhead Ranch. He was also an avid traveler, exploring the world hand-in-hand with Nancy. Most of all, he loved spending time with his beloved family.
