Robert E. Carpio, 74, of Milan, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at his home. There will be no services or visitation. Memorials may be made to the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan is assisting the family.

Robert was born on November 26, 1940 in Moline, a son of Pedro and Mary Carpio. He married Lydia Billingsley on January 3, 1969 in Davenport. Robert worked at the former Franciscan Medical Center, Rock Island and the former Mercer County Hospital, Aledo before his retirement.

Survivors include his wife Lydia; step children, Eileen Sanders, Doug, DeLila, and Gary Van Winkle; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; four sisters; and two brothers. Online condolences may be left for the family at wheelanpressly.com
