Robert "Bob" C. Cramer, 92, of Milan, died Saturday, August 31, 2024 at home.  A funeral service will be at 11 am Friday, September 6, 2024 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan.  Visitation be will from 10-11 am Friday, September 6, 2024 at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island, where military honors will be presented.  Memorials may be made in care of the QC Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Bob was born in Rock Island, Illinois on July 12, 1932, a son of Edward J. and Ida A. Trommer Cramer.  He was a U.S. Army veteran who earned the Bronze Star for his service during the Korean War.

Bob was a life-long farmer.  He was known for raising high quality cattle and crops.  Bob believed in integrity and hard work.

He was an avid dancer, a man of few words and was always known to have a smile on his face.  Bob enjoyed feeding and watching over the local outdoor cats.

Those left to cherish his memory include his significant other of nearly 60 years, Guila Miller, Milan; sister, Mary Ann (Arthur) Hofmann, Rock Island; sister-in-law, Rebecca "Becky" Cramer; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Donald, Edward, Richard, Carl, Betty, Barbara and his twin, William.

The family wishes to extend a special acknowledgement to the nurses at Unity Point Hospice for the kind and loving care extended to Bob and his entire family.
