Robert A. Fox, 68, of Moline, passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Celebrate Senior Living of Moline.  Visitation will be Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 4-7 pm at the Knox Chapel of Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 2106 7th Avenue, Rock Island.  A private graveside service will take place at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the American Heart Association.

Robert was born on March 9, 1956, in Rock Island, Illinois, a son of James A. and Helen L. Musser Fox.  He graduated from Rock Island Senior High School in 1974.

Bob worked as a boiler repairman for Olds Boiler and Repair Service of Moline until he retired in January of 2023.

He was an avid race car and motorcycle enthusiast.  He would race anything he could.  He was also a huge NASCAR fan.

Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Brenda (Greg) Newman, Hillsdale, IL, Edward Fox, Silvis, IL and Linda Good, Corpus Christi, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Fox.
