Robert Henry "Hank" Jackson, 69, of Milan, passed away Thursday March 20, 2025 at UPH Trinity, Rock Island, surrounded by his family.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday March 30, 2025 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Memorials may be left to the family.

Hank was born on July 25, 1955 in Moline, IL. He was a graduate of Rock Island High School Class of 1974. He married Susan K. "Suzie" Hickerson on September 17, 1982 in Las Vegas, Nevada; they were high school sweethearts.

Hank had been employed for over 30 years as a truck driver, and was last employed at C.W. Trucking. Prior he had worked at The Car Shop, Moline, Farmall Harvester Works and had been the owner of Hank's Speed Shop.

Hank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and follower of Christ. He loved spending time with his family and friends, rocking out, drag racing, and rebuilding and restoring cars.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Suzie; children, Beth (Jason) Garza, Bobbi (John) Boeh, Benjamin (Meaghan) Jackson, Beau Henry Jackson, Brenda Jackson; grandchildren, Zoey, Erik, Wyatt, Noah, Madalynn, Abigail, Nicholas, John Henry, Francisco and Jacob; siblings, Rita Ramirez, Robin Enburg, Michael Mohn, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Russell and Leah (Hollett) Jackson; birth parents, Robert Henry Bertram II and Russella (Jackson) Bertram; siblings, Bob, Ken, and Ron Jackson and Virginia "Ginny" Bertram.
