Robert J. Jackson, 72, of Rock Island, Ill., passed away Monday December 9, 2019 in Rock Island.

In accordance with his wishes, no services are planned at this time. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Robert was born January 5, 1947 in Rock Island, a son of Laverne and Roselle Conwell Jackson. He married Sandra A. Carr on July 29, 1967 in Rock Island.

Robert was a produce manager for Eagle Foods for many years. He and Sandra also own Jackson's Antiques, Rock Island.

He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed making pottery, painting, and woodworking.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra, of Rock Island; children, Jessica Anderson, Jefferson Jackson, and his wife Tammy, and Emily Jackson, all of Rock Island; grandchildren, Courtney, William, Jaden, Brittney, Kelsey, Ella, Lennon and Linden; step-grandchildren, Courtney, Kiersten and Kennady; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Jaxon, Liam and Grayson; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Marcia Jackson, Leverett, Mass., Thomas and Joanne Jackson, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Terry and Pam Jackson, Moline, Ill.; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and additional family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
