Robert “Bob” Scott, 63, of East Moline, formerly of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday October 13, 2026 at Allure of Moline, East Moline.

Bob was born on June 1, 1963 in Moline, the son of Richard “Scotty” and Cheryl Jo (Woods) Scott. After graduating from school, he had been employed at the Arc of the Quad Cities for several years.

Bob enjoyed watching dirt track and Nascar races, playing cards and deer hunting when he was younger. Bob had attended First Baptist Church, Rock Island where he was active in the choir.

Bob was a social person who loved visiting with friends and people in the community.

Survivors include his brother and sister in law, Michael and Sharon Scott; niece, Amy Bressert; sister in law, Paula Dawson; cousins, Sonja Meraz and Stephanie Voss.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Cheryl Jo.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
