Robert C. Jenkins, 68, of Moline passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at home.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Those wishing to attend can meet at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave, Rock Island at 10:30 am on Tuesday. Memorials may be left in care of the family.

Robert was born on March 27, 1955 in Rock Island, Illinois, a son of Robert and Shirley (Schanette) Jenkins. He served in the United States Army and was a proud veteran. Robert worked as a Martial Arts Master and MMA Instructor.

Those left to cherish Robert's memory include his children, Yavonne Howe, Deandra (Joshua) Jenkins-Lopez, Rhonda Sheakley, Sinjen (Cynthia) Ruby, Andre (Vien) Ruby, and Faith Holmquist; several "adopted" children; grandchildren, Imani Hilaria, Imani, Imari, Reggie, Kendrixx Joy, Chyna, Myonnah, Michah, Jamison, Kale, Michael, Aurora, Tony, Drake, Andre Jr., Andrew, Gwendolyn and Ginevieve; siblings, Robyn (Tolly), Tameria, Sheila (Juan), Tara (Antwan), and Michael; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Randy and Andre; brother-in-law, Tolly; niece, Chyna; and nephew, Robert.
