Robert Fredrick Moller, 87, of Bettendorf, formerly of Milan, died Friday, June 6, 2014 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Bettendorf. Services will be 10 am Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island, where military honors will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the Wounded Warriors Project.

Robert was born in Blue Island, Ill. on June 10, 1926, a son of Edward and Layla Johnson Moller. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran who served during WWII. He married M. Bernice Burton and Mary Lou Lee, who both preceded him in death. He later married Betty Williams on August 15, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Robert retired after 38 years as a tool designer at IH Farmall Works in Rock Island. He was a member of the Kaaba Shrine for 50 plus years, Davenport, Farmall Retiree's Club and the Rock Island Conservation Club. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, fishing, gardening and spending time with his Farmall buddies. He was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Moller, Bettendorf; children (and spouses), Stephen (Mimi) Moller, Rock Island, Melissa (Bill) Enlow, Rock Island, Elaine Moller, Davenport, Teresa (Don) Reed, Bettendorf and Linda Garish, Harlan, Iowa; several wonderful grand and great-grandchildren; and brother, Richard (Rose) Moller, Colona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, an infant son, sister, Juanita and brother, John.
