Robert Anthony Muskeyvalley, 72, Rock Island, aka "Robbie M" died Thursday, June 13, 2024 at home.

Visitation from 4-7pm Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and 10am Friday, June 21, 2024 at Gospel Mission Temple, Davenport with funeral services following at 11am.

Robbie was born June 4, 1952 in Moline, to Andrew and Betty (Anders) Muskeyvalley. He was the eldest of 9 siblings Ronel, Roma, Raymond, Robin, Rodesha, Renee, Renita and Roshawn; step-siblings, Carolyn and Terry McDowell, Kim, Kenny and Novela Wilson; bonus siblings Duncan Fallon, Theodore Childs, Linda Hughes, Norman Culver, Christine Berry and Angela Bower.

In 1970 Robbie married Charlene Coleman. He later married Roxie Taylor, in 1977.

Robbie loved God and family, and was passionate about his music. He was founder and owner of RAM Music Productions and has recorded and released many albums. His music continues to be played and sold in over 200 countries.

Robbie graduated from Rock Island High School.  He received his Associates degree from Black Hawk College, BA degree in Business from Melin University and Master's degree in Individual and Family Therapy from National Lewis University.

Robbie retired as a Therapist in 2016 from Arrowhead Ranch after 40 years. He returned to the workforce in 2019 as Housing Supervisor at Bethany for Children and Families.

Robbie attended Gospel Mission Temple, under the leadership of Bishop Dr. J.R. Horton. He loved his pastor and the teaching he received under his leadership.

He leaves to cherish his memory, the love of his life of 46 years, wife Roxie; daughters, Regina, Sharen, Ronea; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 Godsons; 1 Goddaughter; bonus children, Victor Merrifield, Dexter and Carolyn Hull; and Matthew and Valerie Beverly.

Preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Novella, Theodore and Linda.
