Robert "Bobby" L. Noppe Jr., 59, of Peoria, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Carle Methodist Hospital in Peoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Per the family's wishes a private memorial service will be held. Inurnment will be at Chippiannock Cemetery. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Bobby was born on October 14, 1964, in Rock Island, the son of Janice (Workman) and Robert Noppe Sr. When Bobby was young, he loved being outside. He would ride the minibike around the yard and enjoyed playing in the woods. He was a skilled artist and loved to draw pictures of old cars and motorcycles. Bobby had a great love for music, especially Rock and Roll. He loved playing his guitar, was self-taught, and his favorite song to play was Stairway to Heaven. Bobby also enjoyed his jam sessions with his niece when she would come over. He loved his family and having picnics with them outside. Bobby was a kind, loving and gentle soul.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Jan Foster; siblings, James (Samantha) Noppe and Jennifer Noppe-Willis; nieces and nephews, MacKenzie Noppe, Jaxson Willis, and Jesse Noppe; and the Foster family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forrest and Marcella Workman; father, Robert Noppe Sr.; and stepfather, Gary Foster.
