Robert N. Ochsner, 71, of Reynolds, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Unity Point Health - Trinity Rock Island. Funeral services are 10:00a.m. on Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Reynolds. Burial with military honors is at Reynolds Cemetery, Reynolds. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Reynolds. Memorials may be made in care of the Reynolds Fire Department or the Reynolds United Methodist Church Elevator Fund.

Robert Neil Ochsner was born on October 20, 1942 the son of Rev. Carroll A. and Vella D. Rexroat Ochsner. He married Grace I. Vancil on January 16, 1965 at the United Methodist Church in Stronghurst, IL. Robert was a millwright for over 30 years and operated his own welding business. He recently retired from the Reynolds Fire Department after many years of dedicated service. Robert was also a member of the Reynolds United Methodist Church. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his beloved family.

Left to cherish Robert's memory are his wife, Grace, Reynolds; children, Teresa (Terry Pratt) Goswick, Reynolds and Todd Ochsner, Reynolds; grandchildren, Brady (fiance, Micayla Rogers) Allison, Austin, Jessica and Brian Ochsner and Evan and Gracie Goswick and a sister, Juanita Jarvis, Stronghurst.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
