Robert "Bob" Runge, 63, of Milan, passed away Monday December 9, 2024 at his home.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held January 11th at the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #25 Hall from 1-5pm. Private inurnment will be at a later date in Beulah Cemetery. Memorials may be left to the family or to the charity of your choosing, in his honor.

Bob was born on April 30, 1961 in Moline, the son of Harold and Mary Ann (Dohler) Runge. He was the youngest of four boys-poor kid! He was lucky enough to have two loving sisters come along after.

He had been employed with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 25, until his retirement. He traveled all over and met many wonderful people.

Bob loved hunting, fishing, going to concerts and drinking beer with friends and family. He loved his sports and was an avid Illini & Cardinals fan. Bob had a sense of humor like no other. If you met him, you sure never forgot it! He loved his family and friends greatly. He had a soft place in his heart for his nieces and nephews. He never had kids of his own but grew very attached to his sweet little Henley.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Runge, Milan; brothers, Mark (Kathy Polito) Runge, Moline, Mike Runge, Preemption, Rich (Heidi) Runge, Andalusia; sisters, Sue Runge and Teresa (Jason) Doak, both of Sherrard; 13 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Runge.
