Roger Johanson Sr., 79, of Milan, Illinois, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, at his home.

Roger was born January 10, 1947, in Rock Island, Illinois. Though he did not graduate from high school, he had a strong mechanical ability and could fix just about anything when he set his mind to it.

He was married for several years, and his wife was blessed with 4 children. Roger enjoyed fishing, junking, and spending time at the local watering hole. His lifetime companion, Mr. Buddy Wizer, only left his side in his final years when his health demanded a quieter pace.

Whether nature, nurture, or some combination of both shaped the man he became, Roger leaves behind a story that was not easily understood. May he rest in peace. Cheers!
