Ronald L. Brown, 59, of Milan, died Saturday, December 24, 2016 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.  Cremation rites were accorded.  A memorial visitation will be Thursday from 1-3 p.m. at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Ronald was born in Los Angeles, Calif. on November 16, 1957, a son of Steve Huff Brown Jr. and Hazel Noreen King.  He married Margaret Flores on October 13, 1989 in Rock Island.

Ronald worked as a forklift operator at Sivyer Steel  and retired in 2008.

He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island, and enjoyed hot rods and motorcycles.  He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Brown, Milan; children, David Flores, Rock Island and Becky Flores, Milan; grandchilden, Justin Flores, Arya Medinger, Saxon Flores and one granddaughter on the way; sister, Betty Jo (Mike) Kaesbauer, Rock Island; brothers-in-law, Joseph (Mary) Flores II, Thomas (Suzanne) Flores and Les (Lori) Flores; sisters-in-law, Laura (Max Covemaker) Flores and Sue Flores; and many other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Justin Flores and 3 brothers; Larry Jo, Eddie and Charlie Brown.
