Ronald E. Dawson, 67, of Milan, passed away Saturday October 15, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport.

A Memorial service will be held 12 Noon Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 10am to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Reynolds Cemetery. Memorials may be left in Ronalds name to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Ron was born on August 16, 1949 in Rock Island the son of Raymond and Jeanette (Anderson) Dawson. He married Gale Ornelis on July 10, 1970 and later married Debbie Cromer in 1978.

Mr. Dawson had been employed at Harrington Roofing, Moline and later at XPAC in Milan.

Survivors include his children, Robyn Dawson, Teya Dawson, both of Florida, Justin Stotts(Amber Gonzalez), Sherrard; grandchildren, Asia, Justice, Ashley, Kayla and Lauren; great grandson, Malik; siblings, Gerald Dawson, Joliet, Thomas Dawson, Milan, Carole Tolley, Colona; several nieces and nephews.
