Ronald H. Brown, 76, of Milan, died Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.  Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline.  Memorials may be made in care of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.

Ronald was born in Peoria, Ill. on January 27, 1941, the son of Betty Diehl.  He married Jacqueline M. Maskovich on January 14, 1961 in Reno, Nev.  She preceded him in death on September 8, 2015.

Ronald was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Ronald worked 33 years as a heavy machine operator for the Moline Consumer Co-General Sand and Gravel, Milan.  Ronald was a member of the International Union of Operation Engineers, Local 150.

Ronald was a very proud union man.  He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and a huge Beatles fan.  He also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

Survivors include his children, Todd (Teresa) Brown, Moline, Lora Parmentier, Milan, Darcy Lievens, Moline and Derek Brown, Canton, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and mother.
