Ronald F. Nalevanko, 82, of Milan passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Silver Cross Nursing Center in Rock Island.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 30th, 2025 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 29th at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, with a rosary to be recited at 3:30 pm. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Memorials may be left in care of the family.

Ron was born on March 25, 1943 in Moline, IL, a son of Andrew and Johanna (Bussone) Nalevanko. He went on to earn his rank as an Eagle Scout. Ron graduated from United Township High School in 1961 and went through the apprentice in the local carpenters union. He married Linda Ramm on June 1, 1974 and they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage together.

Ron was a general contractor for many years and ran Nalevanko Ullrich Builders, designing and building several houses over the years. He also owned and operated Paradise Manor for 40 years and was the president of Nalevanko Enterprise.

Ron's hobbies included fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. He always kept busy and especially enjoyed his time with his canine companions.

Those left to cherish Ron's memory include his wife, Linda Nalevanko; daughter, Terri (Mark) Ullrich; several cousins and many close friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
