Ronald “Skip” D. Pauley, 91, of Milan, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026, at his home.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan. Private inurnment will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in care of your favorite charity or the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Skip was born on August 25, 1934, in Lucerne, Missouri to Guy and Lena Pauley. He was the youngest of 11 children. Skip worked at JI Case from 1965 and retired in 1988.

He was preceded in death by his lifelong friend and wife of 67 years, Donna Custer Pauley. He was also preceded in death by both parents, all siblings, and some nieces and nephews.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
