Ronald F. Pouder, 78, of Washington, IA, passed away Saturday October 25, 2014, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

A memorial service to be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Rock Island Animal Shelter in Ronald's honor.

Ronald was born February 10, 1936, in Rock Island, the son of Fredrick and Gladys (Hayes) Pouder.

Ron will be remembered by his brother Delbert Pouder, Bloomfield, IA; his aunt Betty Holzer, Milan; his nieces, Cheri Schooley, Bloomfield, IA and Mary (Dan) Dunlavy, Belknap, IA; his nephews, Larry and Dusty Boyer, Des Moines, Tim Pouder, Bloomfield, IA, Kevin (Nancy) Pouder, Arizona and Jeff Thordason, Bloomfield; his great niece Courtney (Michael) Wagler; and other great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers Dennis and Richard Pouder; his sister Vicki; and his niece Debbie Thordason.
