Ronna L. Evans-Fish, 74, of Rock Island, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at her home. A memorial visitation will be Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Rock Island National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Ronna was born on May 7, 1944 in Sacramento, California a daughter of Harold and Elaine Harrison Provancha. She married Robert Evans on August 17, 1964 in Pontiac, ILL. She later married Herbert Fish on March 3, 1989 in Rock Island. Ronna worked for several years at Save-A-Lot in Milan before her retirement in 2006. She enjoyed cooking and crossword puzzles. Survivors include her husband, Herbert; children, Jackie (Ed) Kernan, Kewanee, Robert (Kathy) Evans Jr., East Moline, James "Brad" Evans, Wildmore, CA., Jennifer (Brian) Walker, Taylor Ridge, Jami (Jarrod) Mattingly, Viola, Jessica Evans, Woodridge, ILL., and Jody (Tim) Layton, San Antonio, TX.; 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild; siblings, Fran Lewis, Mary Ann Pike and Gloria Chancellor. Ronna was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jean Provancha, brother, Arthur Provancha; daughter, Julie Evans; and a granddaughter, Hailey Malone.
