Rosalie J. Young, 92, of Silvis, formerly of Moline, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at New Perspective Senior Living, Silvis.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Private burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of your favorite charity.

Rosalie was born on April 8,1931 in Corson, South Dakota, the daughter of Theodore and Gladys (Rose) Rovang. She married Kenneth Young on January 2, 1952 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and he preceded her in death.

Rosalie's hobbies included traveling, reading, and volunteering. She especially loved volunteering with Parents Alliance Employment Project in Glen Ellyn, IL.

Those left to cherish Rosalie's memory include her children, Michael (Jill) Young, Jeffrey Young, and Susan (Bob) Clevenstine; grandchildren, Tim, Brandon, and Breanne Young, Kaitlyn Clevenstine, and Alyssa (Desda Sisson) Clevenstine; great grandchildren, Owen, Olivia, Ryley, and Reagan Young; and sister in law, LeAnn Rovang.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Robert Rovang.
