Rosella F. Spaulding, 89, of Rock Island, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.

Rosella was born on September 24, 1931 in Rock Island, a daughter of Louis and Dorothy (Wolverton) Horton. She married Franklin "Frank" D. Spaulding on August 13, 1960 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on November 13, 2007. Rosella worked in the shipping department at Von Maur for many years. She was a member of the Rock Island First Church of the Nazarene. Rosella loved to cook and bake. She especially enjoyed baking during the holidays.

Those left to cherish Rosella's memory include her sons, Joseph Spaulding, Davenport, Daniel Spaulding, Rock Island, and John Spaulding, Rock Island; and granddaughter, Heather.

Rosella was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and parents.
