Rosemary T. Glowacki, 93, of Rock Island, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Silver Cross Nursing Center, Rock Island. Services for Mrs. Glowacki will be 11 am, Thursday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to ARC of the Quad Cities. Rosemary was born on January 23, 1924 in Rock Island.  She was the last survivor of the 12 children of Anthony and Marie Posateri. She married Eugene "Gene" Glowacki on June 18, 1949 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2010. Mrs. Glowacki was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. She graduated from St. Joseph's Catholic High School in Rock Island. Survivors include her children, Michael (Sheryl) Glowacki, Brentwood, CA., and Theresa (Lee) Smith, Joplin, MO.; grandchildren, Joshua and Danielle.
