Rosetta Roberts, 84, of Rock Island, passed away on June 24, 2024. A devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, businesswoman and community pillar, was born April 2, 1940, in Pulaski Co., Arkansas. Rosetta married Elex O. Roberts in July 1960.

She was a Prayer Warrior, a dedicated volunteer, and a highly successful entrepreneur. Her legacy includes being a founding member of The Truth Program, presiding as First Lady of the House of Praise Church, supporting students in the RICCA Program, supporting students of the Rock Island - Milan School District and providing housing and food for families in need throughout the Quad Cities.

To honor her memory are her beloved husband, Elex, nine children – their spouses, 39 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; and 19 brothers and sisters.  Rosetta's unwavering faith and love will be forever cherished.

Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2024, from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. at the Word of Life Church, 1804 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201, with a Homegoing Celebration to immediately follow. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.wheelanpressly.com.
