Rosie "Granny" L. Spencer, 86, of Davenport, died Sunday, December 13, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services, Davenport. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 28, at Third Baptist Church, Davenport. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery, Davenport.

Rosie was born in Wahalak, Miss. on September 12, 1929, a daughter of George Washington and Lauretta Spencer.

Survivors include her children, Edward Spencer and Earline Mathew; grandchildren, James, Chris, Mary, Henry, Earline, Jalonda, Octavia, Dmeer and Jimmy; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children, a grandson and five brothers and sisters.
