Ruby E. Boultinghouse of Rock Island, passed away on February 4, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1923 in Stewardson, IL. Ruby was able to celebrate her 102nd birthday with her family just a few short weeks ago.

There will be a visitation for Ruby from 10-11:00 AM with a funeral service following at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Island. Burial will take place at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline

Ruby married Raymond Boultinghouse on September 10, 1946. They were happily married until his passing in 1987. Together they had four children. Ruby was a dedicated employee of A.D. Huesing and after her many years of loyal service, retired in 1990.

More than anything, Ruby loved to have a good time. She spent many a Friday night at O'Melia's Supper Club enjoying her friends and her favorite drink of Canadian Club (CC) and water. Ruby was also an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs.

Ruby is survived by her children Joann Fairman, Michael (Cindy) Boultinghouse and Ed (AnneMarie) Boultinghouse; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, her son Terry, her grandson Jeff, her great-grandson Bradley and her great-granddaughter Maddilynn; as well as two sisters and three brothers.

The family would like to especially thank the amazing nurses and caregivers at Avonlea Cottage in Milan for their dedication to Ruby over the last three years.
