Ruby Faye Grandberry, 69, of Rock Island, peacefully passed away Tuesday April 11, 2017 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.

Visitation will be Saturday April 15, 2017 from 2:00-3:00pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, a service will follow at 3:00pm, with Rev. Phillip Farrow, officiating. A gathering to celebrate Ruby's life will be begin at 6:00pm Saturday at the Holiday Inn, Rock Island.  Memorials may be left to the family.

Ruby was born on December 21, 1947 in Watervalley, MS, the daughter of Margaret Kelly.

Ruby was very talented at playing the piano, as it was one of her favorite hobbies, as well as cooking, sewing and watching the Food Network Channel.

She is survived by her husband, Clerone Grandberry; children, Alicia, Carolyn "Morgan" Payne, Ruby, Vincent and Roderick; her mother, Margaret Kelly; siblings, William, Jane, Johnny and Robert; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
