Rudolph "Rudy" Kolinchinsky, 83, of Riverview, Florida, formerly of Rock Island, died Sunday, March 8, 2015 at his home. In accordance with his wishes, his body has been cremated. Graveside services with military honors will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 24 at 11:00am. Those wishing to attend graveside services should meet at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island at 10:30am. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

Rudolph Frank Kolinchinsky was born on May 3, 1931 in Rock Island, the son of Frank and Susan Kolinchinsky. During the Korean War, he proudly served in the United States Army Ordinance Corp, stationed in Nancy, France.

He was united in marriage to Virginia Jacobs, on March 30, 1951. They divorced and he then married Diane Patti who preceded him in death. He married Theresa Collins on December 15, 2011 in Florida.

He retired from John Deere - Davenport Works after 30 years of service.

Rudy was an avid hunter enjoying many years hunting pheasants and ducks with his son and brother. He had a unique talent for wood carving ducks and shore birds and found great pleasure in gifting them to friends and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Theresa; daughters, Pamela (Dennis) DeMaught and Wendy (KC) DeWitt; stepson, Hunter Collins; granddaughters, Laurie (Brandon) Klugger, Kelsey DeMaught, Emily DeWitt; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Klugger, Brady Klugger; sister, Marilyn (Carmen) Wietlispach, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diane; son, Jeffrey Kolinchinsky; sister, Alice Smith and brother, Ralph.
