Rudolph G. Quick Jr., 76, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 20th at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made in care of Rudolph Quick.

Rudolph was born on March 17, 1946, a son of Rudolph Sr. and Elizabeth (Moore) Quick.

He was an avid music lover who loved listening to a wide array of music, spending time with family and friends, watching sports, playing slots, and most importantly showing his love by cooking and barbequing for people.

Those left to cherish his memory include his significant other, Doris Valentine; sons, Valtez Tucker, Keith Quick, Rudolph (Ruby) Quick, and Robert Hall; daughters, Kim Brown, Latricia "Shanka" Brown, Andrea Quick, and Kiana (William) Hall-Tyson; grandchildren, Shemeika (Raymond) Gordon, Kwameisha Brown, Laura Brown, Martina Brown, Tabitha Quick, Juan Quick, Ayala (Zachary) Quick, Lauren Quick, Dajauna Jones, Valirie Perry, Kenneth Stevens, Maya Quick, Jayden Quick, and Gabrielle Quick; siblings, Mamie (James) Williamson, Roy (Lisa) Quick, and Dennis Quick; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Freda and Mary Quick; grandchildren, Elaine Brown, and Lionell Brown; and wife, Laura Quick.
