Rusage Josephine, 65, Davenport, IA passed away on September 12, 2026 at Genesis East Hospital in Davenport, IA. There will be a funeral service at 9:30 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Two Rivers United Methodist Church in Rock Island, IL with a viewing one hour prior. Burial at Rock Island Memorial Park.

She was born in 1961 to Baricako Gabriel and Kanani Veronika in Burundi and later immigrated to the United States.

She is survived by her husband, Barutwanayo Jacques; children, Ndereyimana Jerome, Niyonkuru Ernestine, Nduwikunda Joselyne, Ndayiziga Levis, Nduwarugira Syphronie, Bigirimana Nestolla, Sibomana Justine, Nduwikunda David, Nkundimana Laurence; and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
