Russell Zeskey, 79 of Davenport, Iowa passed away on January 31st at the Kahl Home.

Russ was born on October 6th, 1946, in East Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Russell and Judith Zeskey. He married Lynn Condon in May of 1968. He worked in marketing for Bell and Howell, Moen, Lingui Systems and then transitioned to a financial advisor at Thrivent Financial.

In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and playing many sports including tennis, racquetball, softball, soccer, and football. As he got older, he spent many days on the golf course. He was always an active member of the Lutheran Church with roles on the church council and a member of the choir. He enjoyed singing, listening to music, photography, watching sports, traveling both domestic and abroad, reading, and fine dining. A lifelong pet owner, Russ loved his dogs and cats.

Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Inurnment will be private.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the ASPCA.

Russ is survived by his sons Jason (Beth), Ryan (Amanda), and his grandsons Miles and Sawyer. He was preceded in death by his wife Lynn in 2024, parents, and brother.
