Ruth M. Alexander, 86, of Milan, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022, at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.  Entombment will follow service.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, is assisting the family with services.

Ruth was born on March 13, 1936 in Washington, IA, the daughter of Walter and Ada (Kidwell) Alexander.  She retired from John Deere Parts Inc., as a forklift driver after 21 years.  She enjoyed playing cards and bowling.  Ruth had a love for Boxers, and had at least one for many years.

Ruth is survived by her nieces, Deborah (Howard) Lewis and Cynthia (Richard) Caldwell; and great niece Heather (Nick) Masengarb.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Lou Risinger.
