Ruth L. Martin, 64, of Milan, passed away Monday September 26, 2016 at her home.
A service to celebrate her life will be 5:00pm Thursday at Ben Butterworth Parkway West Pavilion, 5201 Old River Drive, Moline.
Moline. Family will greet friends from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the pavilion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the family.
Ruth was born on November 12, 1951 in Moline, the daughter of Donald and Martha (Nelson) Johnson.
Ruth had been employed as a payroll clerk with Community Action of Eastern Iowa, Davenport.
She loved playing cards, bowling, softball and coaching softball.
Survivors include her son, Tony Patrizi (Jennifer Stacy), Bettendorf; granddaughters, Gwen, Holly and Luna Sheridan,
all of Bettendorf; brother, Herbert (Leann) Johnson, Milan; sister in law, Mary Johnson, Milan; special friend, Carol
Hender, Rock Island; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Johnson, Jr. and sister, Lorie.
