Sally Ann Hogue (Pells), 84, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at her residence.

Private services will be held at a later date at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sally was born on March 26, 1931 in Rock Island, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Williamson) Pells. Sally married Richard A. Hogue in 1954 in Rock Island. She is a graduate of Rock Island High School and the American Institute of Commerce in Davenport. Sally was a devoted wife and mother. She loved animals, baseball, bowling, and children. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Sally is survived by her son, Richard (Allison) Hogue and granddaughter, Samantha Hogue. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Hogue and her parents.
