Sally A. Hunter (McSparin), 84, of Davenport, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Manor Care - Utica Ridge in Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of Kings Harvest Pet Rescue.

Sally A. Hunter was born on September 19, 1930 in Moline, a daughter of Ralph and Alice Johnson Hunter. Sally graduated from Moline High School in the Class of 1948 and worked as a cashier at Lee's Liquors for over 25 years. She married Leonard McSparin and they were blessed with 4 children. Sally was a member of the Kings Daughters and she greatly enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and playing games.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Vicki Jackson, Pamela Montez, Teri (Tommy) Ragona, all of Bettendorf, and Kevin (Laura) McSparin, Rock Island; 9 grandchildren; 16 great - grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Moon, Macomb, Ill. and Nancy (Paul) Acone, Newport Beach, Calif., along with many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother and son-in-law, Daniel Montez.
