Sandra Dierikx Bollman, 71 , of Coal Valley, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at her home in Coal Valley, surrounded by her family following a battle with Lung Cancer and Crohns.Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 27th at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 - 7th Ave., Rock Island. Visitation is 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26th at the funeral home. Private family inurnment will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Rock Island, where she held membership for many years.

Sandra was born April 30, 1942 in Davenport, daughter of August M. and Mary McCausland Dierikx. She married Brian P. Bollman on June 24, 1962 at Centeral Presbyterian Church, Rock Island.

Sandra retired in 2004 as an accountant from Watts Trucking Co.

Survivors include her husband, Brian, daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jerry Dowell, Sherrard; son, Scott, Coal Valley; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Jessica Bollman, Coal Valley; grandchildren, Darien and Malia Dowell, Sherrard, Branden, Chase and Emily Bollman, Coal Valley,Brianne and husband Tyler Best, Moline; great-grandson, Jamie Best; brothers, Terry M. Dierikx, Taylor Ridge, and Ronnie and wife Marcie Dierikx, Osco.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Jerri Lu Dierikx and brother-in-law, Michael Bollman.
