Sandra S. Caldwell-Hoste, 75, of Milan, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at her home. Memorial services for Sandra will be Noon,  Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for a memorial fund that will be established at a later date. Sandra was born on August 21, 1942 in Iowa City, a daughter of Elmer Nelson and Sylvia Kubichek Nelson. She married Richard Caldwell on June 19, 1959 in California. He preceded her in death. Sandra was a seamstress at Douglas Enterprises. She retired in 2012. Sandra was a member of East End Bolders Club and the Viking Club. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed drawing, crafts. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her children, Christine (Mark) Forbes, Milan and Mark Caldwell, Davenport; eight grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; a daughter, Shelly Caldwell; three sisters and one brother. Online condolences may be left for the family at wheelanpressly.com
