Sandra Kay Conklin, 69, of Coal Valley, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Beulah Rural Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the family to be established at a later date.

Sandra was born March 30, 1953, in Rock Island, a daughter of George Raymond and Maxine Opal (Beasley) Taylor. She worked as an assistant manager at Blackhawk Bank and Trust, retiring in 2018. While at Blackhawk she named the Lil' Hawk branch. Sandra loved quilting. She also enjoyed genealogy and antiquing.

Those left to cherish Sandra's memory include her sons, Sean and Casey Flynn, both of Coal Valley; significant other, Mike Stewart; grandchildren, Steven, Aaron, and Christian Flynn; and brother, Albert "Butch" (Karen) Taylor.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Conklin.
